Install WordPress in your Shared Hosting (Webspace)

All of our Shared Hosting plans include the ability to quickly have a WordPress application up and running in minutes using the WP Toolkit in cPanel (Webspace).

Here's what you need to do:

  • Log in to your cPanel (Webspace) using the credentials (username and password) you received in the New Account Information e-mail;
  • In the Domains area, select the WordPress Management function;

  • Using this WP-Toolkit interface, you'll be able to easily manage your account's WordPress installations;

  • Click on Install WordPress to start;

  • In the new pop-up, you'll be able to select the installation options such as:
    • General: installation path, site title, plugin/theme set, version, etc.;
    • WordPress Administration: credentials to access your new WordPress application, e-mail;
    • Database: creating a database and user;
    • Automatic Update Settings: here you can choose specific policies for how WordPress core, plugins and themes are updated.
  • After configuring the options, click Install at the bottom of the page.
  • Once the installation is complete, you will be able to see the new WordPress site in the WP Toolkit interface;

From here you can easily check the status of the installation(s) or perform a lot of actions related to the management of your application such as: installing and activating/deactivating plugins, themes, as well as managing databases, backups or checking logs.

The dashboard shows useful information about SSL/TLS status (learn more about that in our article about SSL/TLS here) and PHP version (that can be easily managed via the MultiPHP INI Editor)

To launch the WordPress editor and start making changes to the content of your website, simply use the Login button in the Dashboard.
