How does FlokiNET collect personal data?
FlokiNET collects and logs your IP address, the time and duration of your visit, the time and duration of the pages you view on our website (where applicable) and information about your computer system, such as your browser type and operating system, whenever you access or use a FlokiNET service.

In the case of customers, we collect, maintain, transmit and/or use personal information provided by you in your account, including but not limited to your full name, billing information, contact information and FlokiNET user ID (assigned when you set up an account)

FlokiNET allows customers to pay for services online in a variety of ways, such as Bitcoin or bank transfer for services.

Credit card information provided via our website is transmitted via a secure connection to the Paygol payment processor. FlokiNET does not store this information and does not authorise the disclosure of this information to anyone not directly involved in processing the transaction. Credit card numbers are used by Borgun and Landsbankinn to process payments and are not used for any other purpose.

PayPal is an external service. Customers register with PayPal and can use their email to connect to PayPal from FlokiNET's website to process a payment for services. FlokiNET does not send any other information to PayPal.

FlokiNET will enter into written agreements with these third parties and will continue to enter into written agreements with third parties that provide credit card processing services.

FlokiNET will ensure that appropriate security measures are in place and that confidentiality is maintained to protect your personal information in accordance with applicable laws and regulations.

  • For support information

FlokiNET uses the information you provide via telephone, chat, email, web forms and other communications to correspond with you about services you may be interested in purchasing. If you choose to purchase a service online using a web form, FlokiNET will use the information to create your account. Information that you submit in writing, such as chat, email and web form information, will be archived and may be linked to information that FlokiNET collects about your web visits. FlokiNET may enter information you provide by telephone into its systems for use for the purposes described in this paragraph.

Access to your personal information
You control access to the Personal Information you maintain or store through FlokiNET's web-based account management interface, billing.flokinet.is. You can update your information at any time. You may cancel your account at any time and request that your personal information be deleted from our databases, except for any accounting records of purchases, which we are required by law to retain for 7 years, network access logs, which we may retain for any period of time at our discretion, in cases where there are outstanding financial obligations or in cases where illegal activity is suspected (as determined by FlokiNET management or law enforcement officials), in which case personal information may be retained indefinitely for the purposes of ongoing investigation and prevention of recurrence of fraud, or in cases where a breach of the Terms and Conditions and applicable Service Level Agreement has resulted in the termination of your account (as defined by revocation of your permission to use FlokiNET's services), in which case personal information may be retained indefinitely for the purposes of preventing further use of FlokiNET's services by the offending individual.

Upon request, FlokiNET will provide you with reasonable access to the personal data that FlokiNET holds about you. We will also take reasonable steps to correct, amend or delete any information that you demonstrate is inaccurate, incomplete or processed in breach of applicable law. Except as required by law, FlokiNET will not allow you to access the Personal Data of anyone other than yourself.

Unmanaged Service
You are solely responsible for maintaining the security of the virtual private server ("VPS"), dedicated server and colocation environments maintained under your account(s). You are solely responsible for ensuring compliance with all applicable privacy guidelines and regulations for all jurisdictions in which you may operate with respect to appropriate practices for the collection, storage and dissemination of personal information using your Service. In no event shall FlokiNET be liable for your failure to adopt and/or implement appropriate measures to protect personal information stored in or transmitted through your Service.

Changes
We may change this Privacy Policy at any time, so you should check back periodically for changes. You may cancel your account at any time and may request that your personal information be deleted from our databases, with the exception of: any bookkeeping details of purchases which we are required to store for 7 years in accordance to the legal jurisdiction we are under, network access logs, which may be stored for any duration of time at our discretion, cases where there are outstanding financial engagements or in the cases where illegal activity is deemed to have occurred (as determined by FlokiNET management or law enforcement officials), in which case personal information may be retained indefinitely for purposes of ongoing investigation and prevention of fraud recurrence, or cases where a violation of the Terms of Service and applicable Service Level Agreement has resulted in cancellation of your account (as defined by revocation of your permission to utilize FlokiNET's services), in which case personal information may be retained indefinitely for purposes of prevention of further use of FlokiNET's services in the future by the offending individual.

Upon request, FlokiNET will grant you reasonable access to Personal Data maintained by FlokiNET about you. In addition, we will take reasonable steps to correct, amend or delete information that is demonstrated by you to be inaccurate, incomplete or processed in violation of applicable law. Unless required by law, FlokiNET will not permit you to access the Personal Data of any Data Subject other than yourself.
