We got some news to share, a new round of upgrades across our network!
Focused on more capacity, more resilience, and stronger DDoS protection. This expansion strengthens our foundation starting in 2026, and it’s designed to deliver a smoother experience during peak demand, routing to largest networks in Europe.
What’s new
- More upstream diversity:
- We’ve added Inter.link as an upstream provider, increasing routing options and improving resilience, in all locations with exception of Iceland.
- We are working on adding Internet Exchange points in all our locations, improving in latency and bandwidth.
- More diversity means more stable paths.
- Higher capacity where its needed: We’re increasing capacity across key network segments to improve capacity for upgrades and high bandwidth applications. This increased capacity reduces even further the risk of congestion under load, these locations are Romania and Netherlands.
DDoS protection improvements:
As part of this upgrade we’re moving forward with added strength via Inter.link's DDoS protection as our primary mitigation layer, keeping alternatives in the background to ensure your services are always protected.
In practical terms:
- Scalable mitigation aligned with our current upstream and capacity design.
- Faster, operational handling through improved automation and monitoring.
- We’ve expanded our networking/NOC to actively monitor and manage events.
Less disruption, faster stabilization, better outcomes during attacks.
About ddosapi.flokinet.is
Our ddosapi.flokinet.is, which was built around a provider-specific workflow, is now discontinued, as it no longer fits our current protection model.
Customers who previously used ddosapi should not be negatively affected by its removal.
A replacement API is being built, aligned with our new approach. Until then, DDoS handling is managed by our NOC via ticket.
These upgrades, require no action for existing clients and recurring prices are not affected.
Questions or special requirements?
Reach out via a ticket and our NOC will help you review the current protection your IP has set and if we can improve on protecting your service specifically.
